Orphanage (5, Komsomolskaya Street) In 1900, at the intersection of Vladimirskaya (now Komsomolskaya) and Predtechenskaya (now Kuznetsova) streets, the building of the Pereslavl Orphanage was sanctified. A new two-story red brick house with a basement was supposed to accommodate 50 children. It also had facilities for the caretaker and the assistant caretaker. The building was in full conformity with the construction norms and rules of that epoch and according to contemporaries was one of the towns' most notable buildings. Now it is occupied by the Duma of Pereslavl and the Social Insurance Department.
